Backyard BBQ

Green Acre was invited by our friends at Empire in the Air to set up a booth at their “GROWTH” event in San Jose in August 2019. This was just a couple months before our Harvest Collection release and we were still in the middle of finishing everything up for the collection, but I thought it would be a great way to preview some of the upcoming release and meet other local creatives and artists from the area.

Growing up, we always had the backyard BBQs in the summer and the kiddie pool inflated with all the cousins. With summer winding down, I wanted to recreate that experience for this setup. Every time we set up a physical space, my goal is to recreate experiences I’ve had that people could relate to or just have fun with.

At the Backyard BBQ, we were able to preview our What You Water, Grows items, and were able to connect with a ton of new people in the community.
