Acre Verde Taqueria
The Acre Verde Taqueria was our 3rd pop-up shop that we’ve hosted as a brand, and we wanted to do something special for our 2 year anniversary. This pop up was hosted in downtown Oakland, at Viscera, where we’ve also had all of our previous pop up shops.
Growing up in the Bay Area, a staple everywhere for us were taquerias and taco trucks. Taquerias and trucks are some of our favorite things, and we wanted to have some fun with this and create an interactive experience for our community. We had a live screenprinter set up at the shop, and I created a menu to order limited items off of, or create your own exclusive piece. Once the item was completed, we wrapped it up. And of course, if you created a live screenprinted piece, you get a plate of tacos and horchata from our friends at Mollies Catering.
Aside from the live screenprinting and tacos, we also wanted to feature local artists, and curated a great lineup of local DJs to perform and a gallery of photographers to showcase their work.
World Tour
With each anniversary so far, we’ve released a “World Tour” tee to commemorate all the places around the world that Green Acre has reached. Inspired by tour merch, we get super excited when we see a new place that we’re shipping our products too. This design represents the 2nd year of Green Acre and all the places the sprout has traveled.
This was our first themed event, and I was very proud of the outcome. Here’s a video our friend shot and produced for us with some highlights from the event.
